Hernando A. Cardona, MD, FAAP

CardonaDr. Cardona earned his Medical Degree at Libre University in 1994. He worked in Colombia for a few years as a general physician before moving to New York City. In New York, he completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Residency Training Program in Pediatrics at Beth Israel Medical Center and LICH in 2002, and stayed on for an additional year as their Chief Resident. Dr. Cardona and his family moved to Florida in 2003 to begin work, respectively at Windermere Pediatrics for Dr. Cardona, and his wife, Diana Hernandez, MD at Health Central. He is Board Certified in Pediatrics, and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has been with Windermere Pediatrics since 2003 and became a partner in 2005.

Hernando and Diana, his wife, live in Windermere with their three children. He enjoys hiking, photography, geocaching and other outdoor activities, and is a volunteer assistant scoutmaster with his son's Boy Scout troop. Other languages spoken: Spanish.


Ginny L. Guyton, MD, FAAP

GuytonDr. Guyton earned her Medical Degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1984. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Orlando Regional Medical Center, including two years as Chief Resident before joining Windermere Pediatrics in 1989. She became a partner in the business in 1990, and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Guyton is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Orange County Medical Society, and the Central Florida Pediatric Society.

She and Dan, her husband, reside in Winter Park with their son, Sam. Interests include art and roller skating. Other languages spoken: Spanish


Carmen Noriega, MD, FAAP

NoriegaDr. Noriega earned her Medical Degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She completed her internship year at Miami Children's Hospital and completed her Residency in Pediatrics at Texas Children's Hospital - Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Prior to joining Windermere Pediatrics in 2000, Dr. Noriega worked in general pediatrics and was involved in clinical research with Emwood Pediatric Group in Rochester, New York. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Florida Pediatric Society, Central Florida Medical Society and CFP.

Dr. Noriega, her husband. Dr. Edgar Geigel and their two daughters live in Windermere. Personal interests include: bike riding, reading, and involvement in her children's activities. Other language spoken: Spanish


Denise Serafín, MD, FAAP

SerafinDr. Serafín earned her Medical Degree from Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico. She completed her residency in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic's Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. She was Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Serafín worked for one year as Clinical Associate in the Emergency Room/Urgent Care at the Cleveland Clinic before joining Windermere Pediatrics in 2005. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics

She and her husband, Dr. Carlos Alemany, and their four children live in Ocoee. Interests include: cooking, traveling, Latin American women's novels and interior decorating. Special areas of medical interests include: Asthma, Allergic diseases, and Adolescent Medicine. Other languages spoken: Spanish.
